The 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference kicked off from July 26-29.
The conference was held at the Shanghai World Expo Center and the World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, with the theme of "Working Together in the Intelligent Era", presented in the "1+1+2+10+N" architecture, namely 1 opening ceremony and main forum, 1 high-level conference on global governance of artificial intelligence, 2 plenary sessions on scientific frontiers and development security, more than 10 ministerial forums and N ecological forums.
The scale of this conference is unprecedented, attracting more than 800 enterprises to participate in the exhibition, including dozens of domestic AI leading chain main enterprises, more than 60 leading foreign enterprises, and more than 30 central state-owned enterprises. More than 3,000 cutting-edge exhibits were unveiled, covering more than 40 large models, more than 50 AI terminal products, more than 60 intelligent robots and more than 100 blockbuster new products of "world premiere" and "Chinese debut", the largest scale ever.
|our country's artificial intelligence industry has exceeded 700 billion
Have you ever wondered if one day robots could dance like humans? Or paralyzed patients get back on their feet with the help of AI technology? These sounds like a sci-fi movie plot, but now it's become a reality:
Generative AI: From ChatGPT to DeepSeek, AI is making a big splash. Intelligent image systems: From naked eye recognition to the popularization of intelligent image systems, AI makes visual recognition more accurate and efficient. Unmanned driving: Assisted driving technology is gradually moving towards true unmanned driving. Medical field: AI-assisted technology and brain-computer interface technology help paralyzed patients regain hope to stand and improve the self-care ability of people with disabilities. Industrial applications: Robotic arms and dancing humanoid robots are breaking the boundaries of traditional labor.
AI is no longer a "black technology" in the laboratory, but has really changed our daily lives and the way we work.
In the next few years, with the continuous expansion of application scenarios, the scale of the AI industry will continue to grow: according to the "Statistical Report on the Development of China's Internet Network", the scale of our country's AI industry will exceed 700 billion yuan in 2024, and it will maintain a growth rate of more than 20% for many years.
In terms of the number of patents, the World Intellectual Property Organization report shows that as of April 2025, our country has become the largest owner of AI patents in the world, accounting for 60%, with 1.576 million applications, accounting for 38.58% of the global total, ranking first in the world.
AI companies have begun to "recover"
After a period of "small trough" in 2022, artificial intelligence companies have begun to accelerate their revenue growth from 2023.
By 2024, the total operating income of the entire A-share artificial intelligence sector will exceed 600 billion yuan, an increase of more than 10% over the previous year (comparable caliber), which shows that the AI industry is moving from "storytelling" to "real money".
What is even more exciting is that the agency predicts that the overall revenue growth rate of AI companies is expected to reach 19% in 2025, and by 2026, the growth rate is expected to remain at about 16%. AI is not a flash in the pan, but is "growing up".
Among these 86 companies, one is particularly eye-catching - Inspur Information.
In 2024, its revenue will exceed 114.767 billion yuan, ranking first in the AI sector; Institutions predict that revenue is expected to exceed 150 billion yuan in 2025; By 2026, it may even exceed 180 billion yuan! Who is it? To put it simply, Inspur Information is the "handle" of domestic AI servers, mainly serving major customers such as Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, and Baidu Cloud.
There is also good news recently: Nvidia H20 chips have resumed sales to China, and domestic companies have begun to place orders in large numbers. As a core supplier, Inspur's delivery capacity of AI servers has been greatly improved, and the number of orders is also accelerating.
|The performance forecast rate of the 2025 semi-annual report is nearly 60%
In the AI industry, everyone always thought that "it sounds great", but "it is uncertain whether it will make money or not". However, judging from the performance forecast for the first half of 2025, AI companies are quietly "recovering", and there are many bright spots worth paying attention to.
Up to now, 21 A-share artificial intelligence companies have released their performance forecasts for the first half of 2025 (excluding the "uncertain" type).
Let's take a look at the overall performance: the performance forecast rate is close to 60%, that is, 12 companies are expected to make profits or grow; Among them, 6 companies have achieved a turnaround, which shows that the AI industry is gradually moving from the "burning money" stage to the "hematopoietic" stage. Net profit collectively "turned red": from a loss of 1.8 billion yuan to a profit of 410 million.
Let's look at a key statistic: the overall net profit of these 21 companies in the first half of 2025 will be 410 million yuan, compared with a total loss of nearly 1.8 billion yuan in the same period last year. Although the scale of profit is not large, the transformation from "big loss" to "micro profit" is significant.
Among them, companies such as iFLYTEK, 360, and China Software, which have dragged down the overall performance, are still losing money, but the loss margin has narrowed significantly, indicating that they are also gradually improving in the adjustment.
Turnaround representatives: Huasheng Tiancheng, Jiadu Technology. Among the companies that turned around this time, Huasheng Tiancheng is a typical representative. the median net profit in the first half of 2025 will reach 150 million yuan; The company said that this is mainly due to the growth of artificial intelligence and localization business; At the same time, the price of Telink Micro shares held by it has risen, which has also brought a lot of fair value gains. The AI business is bottomed out, and the investment income is added, and Huasheng Tiancheng's turnaround is not accidental.
Growth dark horse: Haitian AAC and Hang Seng Electronics' net profit soared by more than 700%. Among the companies with growth in performance, two companies performed particularly well:
Haitian AAC: With the continuous expansion of AI training data business, net profit increased significantly; The growth rate exceeded 700% (although the base was low in the same period last year).
Hang Seng Electronics: Net profit in the first half of 2025 is expected to be 251 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of more than 740%, which is also a double promotion of low base + business recovery.
Although the growth rate seems "exaggerated", it also shows that these companies are ushering in an inflection point in their performance, which is worth paying attention to.
