In 2021, China's new energy vehicle market will continue to make breakthroughs, with production and sales increasing by more than 160% year-on-year, and sales reaching 3.52 million vehicles. But it is also important to note that European and American countries are also catching up. Last year, the number of new energy vehicles in the United States doubled, with sales reaching 670,000; the sales of new energy vehicles in Europe reached 2.338 million, a year-on-year increase of 66%. However, the penetration rate of the new energy vehicle market in Europe has reached 16.5%, higher than China's 13.4%.


In 2022, such a pattern will definitely be a tough battle for the auto industry. Under the promotion of various factors, the consumption of new energy vehicles has been transformed from policy-driven to market-driven. From January to February this year, a total of 560,000 new energy vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 165%. It is expected that in the next ten years, China's auto market will usher in a period of rapid popularization of new energy.

However, for a long time in the future, intelligent networked vehicles will still be in a state of human-machine co-driving. The real breakthrough from L2 to L3 is a long process, which involves the close cooperation and upgrading of software, hardware, data and other technologies. In particular, the high-computing power vehicle-level chip will be the core key to the breakthrough of high-end autonomous driving.

03 - 2022 will be the year of mass production of domestic car-level computing power chips

In order to solve the problem of capital investment, the government and enterprises will share it, support the production of automotive-grade chips, pilot projects and start-ups, and vigorously build large-scale chip manufacturing plants. A-level chip ecosystem, encourage domestic car companies to participate in the research and development, manufacturing and application of automotive-grade chips, and promote the increase in the proportion of domestic chip applications.


Shan Jizhang revealed that Black Sesame Intelligence has formed a complete solution at the L1 to L3 level, and is constantly expanding the scale of partners, and has cooperated with nearly 70 partners. Huashan No. 2 A1000 series chips are scheduled to start mass production this year, and will become the most powerful and capable autonomous driving chips that can be mass-produced in China.
